Here are some tips to save money abroad:
- If you’re abroad for longer, it’s best to buy a local SIM card. Alternatively, we offer data packages. Without data packages or inclusive units, you will not be able to use the Internet abroad
→ Data packs - Use VoIP services like WhatsApp to make phone calls (note: Wi-Fi calling is not part of VoIP and will be charged at the normal call rate).
- Both leaving and listening to voicemail messages triggers international voice calls, which are expensive. If you want to reduce costs, go to your Cockpit and deactivate voicemail.
Please note: When forwarding to voicemail, both an incoming and an outgoing connection are made at the same time, which leads to double billing and high costs.
