Fiber socket not found
If you do not find a fiber socket in your apartment, it does not necessarily mean that a fiber connection is not possible. Often, the fiber line has not yet been extended into your apartment.
So if we ask you to "provide number" in the cockpit and you cannot find it, you can let us know with a click. We will then review your case and determine whether a socket is already available or if a new one needs to be installed.
No fiber socket available
After placing the order, a more comprehensive review takes place. Depending on the situation, you will receive further steps via email. Importantly, you can cancel the order or your subscription at any time.
Please note that the installation of a fiber socket requires the consent of the property owner and/or management. It is advisable to clarify in advance whether they agree to the installation of a fiber socket.
The costs are not covered by us. If costs arise, you will be informed in advance. Depending on the situation, these costs may be covered by Swisscom / Sunrise as part of the basic fiber expansion. Otherwise, the costs must be borne by the owner or tenant. The latter applies if your landlord refuses to cover the costs.
