You can switch from a physical SIM card to an eSIM in your Cockpit. Go to Settings, click on «SIM card» and select «Switch to eSIM».
This immediately deactivates your physical SIM card. You’ll then automatically receive an e-mail with a QR code to activate your eSIM.
To ensure a trouble-free switch, please follow these tips:
- Make sure the device on which you want to use the eSIM is connected to the Internet. An active Internet connection is required to activate the eSIM.
- The QR code will be sent to you by e-mail or to your Cockpit. Keep at hand a second device that can display the QR code (e.g. a computer, tablet or mobile device). Then, scan the QR code with the device you wish to use the eSIM on.
